Lantern Village real estate is truly a vision. The upscale community is known for its distinctive architecture, charming street names and incredible views. It’s definitely worthy of a closer look.
Lantern Village history
Development in Lantern Village began long ago. In 1923, a woman named Anna Walters purchased the land to build a development. Walters envisioned a lovely neighborhood lit by beautiful lanterns inspired by those that aided sailors long ago. Consequently, streets in Lantern Village were named after colored lanterns that are thought to have advertised the fares carried on board ships.
In 1927, Sydney H. Woodruff purchased the property and built dozens of Spanish-style homes. He also expanded the development and installed copper lanterns with irons posts, some of which remain today.

Monarch Beach real estate is comprised of an extraordinary collection
"There is a reason that Eric has five-star ratings. He believes in The Golden Rule: "Do to others what you want them to do to you." This is reflected in everything he does.
Eric helped us sell our condo in April of 2014. Once we decided to sell, we couldn't wait to get out of there. We received an offer at the appraised value the very first weekend the condo was on the market. The entire transaction was seamless.
In early 2017, we decided to start looking for our forever home. With Eric's astute advice and guidance, we found a home and made an offer. There were five offers on the house, and due to Eric's negotiating prowess, ours was accepted. Again, the deal went through without a hitch.
There is no question that Eric's skill and expertise are top notch, but in my opinion, he has so much more to offer. Bottom line, he truly wants his clients to be happy and will go above and beyond to ensure a successful outcome.
My husband and I are just ordinary working people with limited knowledge of the real estate market. We were worried that we would never be able to find a single-family home in Orange County that we could afford. Eric has been easy to work with, patient with all of our questions, and honest to a fault."
